Biography

Selena Gomez was born on July 22, 1992 in New York City, New York and was raised in Mansfield, Texas. Selena has been acting since 2002 when she first landed a role on "Barney & Friends" as Gianna. Selena was discovered in a nationwide talent search when she was 12 years old, which led her to her new Disney TV Show, Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena is set to film her season 2 of Wizards of Waverly Place. in January of 2008.
