This hairstyle works best with hair at least shoulder length.

Step 1. Firstly, your hair needs to be clean. If it's been washed within the 48 hours and is free of knots and grease, as well as still being soft (as opposed to dry and straw-like), then you should be okay and can skip to Step 2. If it doesn't meet this criteria, wash your hair with products that enhance straight hairstyles and blow-dry straight with a paddle brush. Since you're aiming for a straight hairstyle, you should apply an anti-frizz product before drying to avoid your hair becoming static.

Step 2. Allow your straighteners to heat whilst brushing through your hair thoroughly. Brush your hair backwards away from the crown of your head, and then style it into a relatively straight side parting slightly to the left side of your head, like Selena has here. Brush your bangs/fringe to the side, allowing it to fall naturally in accordance to the parting. You may have to split your bangs if they don't naturally fit the parting.

Step 3. Clip the uppermost layer of your hair to the top of your hair and brush through the underlayer. Selena's hair is straight, but it isn't stick-striaght and still has some body, so you don't need to split hair into tiny layers like you might for other styles. Hold a two inch section of hair out with a brush, and then run your straighteners through it. Work around the underlayer until it's straight, and then release the uppermost layer of your hair and work around that as well. Leave the front of your hair until last, as this is the bit you need to pay attention to. Once you get to this part, curve the straighteners slightly towards your face as you style so that the ends are styled round your cheeks.

Step 4. As ever, shine-spray, hairspray, anti-frizz serum etc. is optional.

Enjoy your new hairstyle!
