Step 1. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

Step 2. Apply a heat protectant evenly to hair. Brush hair out to remove any knots or tangles. Create a side part as well. Blow dry hair as straight as possible. Do not blow dry hair upside down because it adds a lot of volume and may not look like Selena's hair in the end.

Step 3. After fully drying your hair, run 2 inch sections of hair through a flat iron and straighten them completely.

Step 4. Add a glossing serum or shine spray to give it that extra sheen. Spread evenly.

Step 5. Lightly spray with a mist of hairspray to lock in your style.
