Items Suggested:
Heat Protectant
Flat Iron/Curling Iron
Hairspray

Step 1. Wash your hair with a good shampoo and conditioner. Try not to use a lots of conditioner for this look or else your hair will look weighed down.

Step 2. Now it's time to dry your hair. Before you blow dry it I would suggest a good heat protectant. When you blow dry your hair for this look, just concentrate on getting it dry rather than perfectly straight.

Step 3. Plug in your straightener. While it heats up brush through your hair and seperate your hair in top, middle, and bottom layers and secure them in pony tail holders or large clips. If you have bangs leave them down.

Step 4. With a small straightener create waves. You can do this by taking 1 inch pieces of hair and briefly running it through the section of hair. Then clamp hair 2 inches from the roots and flip the straightener under once and then pull the straightener down about 2-3 inches at a time. Repeat this through the strand of hair mulitple times depending on the length of your hair.

Step 5. Do this throughout through all of the layers. If you find that the curls are too tight, run your fingers through them to soften the curls to create more of a wavy effect.

Step 6. *This step is for people with bangs* With your straightener, flip your bangs outwards and try to blend them with your waves.

Step 7. Lightly spray hair with a hairspray. If you have a beret, pin the beret on securely with a Bobby pin on each side.

Enjoy your new hairstyle!
