Items Suggested:
Heat Protectant
Flat Iron
Hairspray

Step 1. Before you start styling your hair, your hair must be completely clean. This means free of any product, grease, and heat. Wash your hair thoroughly with a good quality shampoo and conditioner. Never forget to condition, because this will help replace oils that were lost in the shampoo (cleaning) process. If you have dry hair, maybe consider not washing your hair so often. Dry hair can be caused by overwashing.

Step 2. Brush your hair out with a widetooth comb (NEVER use anything other than one of these when your hair is wet), and part your hair to your liking. In this case, Selena's part is almost down the center, but don't drift too far from your natural part or the hairstyle will look too fake. Blow dry your hair if needed, however it is not recommended unless you are short on time.

Step 3. If your hair is naturally wavy or curly, go ahead and straighten your hair out. Selena's hair is extremely straight in this guide, so straighten before starting.

Step 4. Comb your hair back (preferably with a small tooth comb) and grab your hair as you comb, with a hair tie around your hand. Once your hair is pulled back enough, tie up your hair tightly. If it's too loose, it won't have the same look as we are trying to achieve.

Step 5. Afterwards, flip your hair over your shoulder and apply and kind of hairspray to lock your look.

Enjoy your new hairstyle!
