Step 1. Clean your face with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft towel or flannel. If you want to mosturise or exfoliate, use something soft that's suitable for everyday use and your skin tone. Some mosturisers make a good base for makeup too, particularly Garnier's soft day mosturiser or similar products. Obviously, this is optional.

Step 2. Now your face is clean and fresh, use a soft, liquid based foundation or loose powder and spread it evenly across your face. Make sure your chosen products are as close to your skin tone in colour as possible. If you're using foundation, make sure to blend round the edges of your face and crevices such as your nose and eyes so that the look is even and natural.

Step 3. Line your eyes with a soft black/brown kohl pencil, and then blend a pale brown/bronze eyeshadow across your eyelids. After this, take a slightly darker shade of bronze/brown and use it to enunciate the edges of your eyes. Add black/brown mascara to finish this step.

Step 4. To complete this look, apply a baby pink lipstick to your lips, then add a coat of clear lipgloss to finish.
