House of Blues in San Diego

Step 1. Before you begin this process, your face must be clean of any oil, dirt, makeup, ect. Wash your face with a good facial scrub, such as Neutrogena Invigorating Foaming Scrub. After your face is washed, apply a toner, if you don't have a toner skip this step. Now, add a dime size amount of tinted facial moisturizer (A moisturizer that gives some color and usually sun protection). If you don't have a tinted moisturizer, use any regular kind.

Step 2. Now it's time to start with the makeup. If you have blemishes, dark spots, or dark undereyes, start by applying a concealer that is within two shades of your skin tone and your foundation tone. Recommended places are your undereyes and sides of the nose.

Step 3. Take your foundation, and put a small dime size amount on each cheek, forehead, and a smaller size on your nose and chin. Take your fingers (make sure they're clean, because this can cause outbreaks if your hands are dirty) and blend it into your face without rubbing. Take your makeup sponge, and blend it downwards, blending with your jawline, hairline, and neckline.

Step 4. Take your blush brush and make a "3-E" on your cheeks, which is going from your temples to your cheeks. Smile and gently swipe your blush across your cheeks, creating a gentle rosy look. Be very careful not to apply too much.

Step 5. Time for the eyeshadow. Take a navy or royal blue eyeshadow, and gently apply some starting from the beginning crease of your eye, going outwards. Do not apply past your eyelid crease! Now, blend it in with a lighter blue on your crease.

Step 6. Using a blue eyeliner pencil, draw gently on your bottom lash line. Do not pass your lashes, and do not draw on your waterline for this guide! You may use a white eyeliner on your waterlines instead.

Step 7. Gently swipe a few brushes of lengthening mascara, you're not going for much volume here, but instead length.

Step 8. Top the look off with a rosy pink lipstick or cherry chapstick.

You're done!
